Thank you for joining me on Recipe Wednesdays! This is just a quick recipe I put together and it worked perfectly! In my home, we LOVE pizza! We normally eat it with cheese, but have been practicing on making healthier decisions with one of our all time faves! This pizza would be Vegan if the crust didn’t contain dairy products. Enjoy!
- 1 Boboli Pizza Crust (or similar)
- Ragu (Traditional) Pizza Sauce
- Hot house Tomatoes
- Baby Portobello Mushrooms
- Red Crushed Peppers (optional)
- Italian Seasoning
Add Ragu Traditional Pizza Sauce to cover the pizza crust to your desire. Add all vegetables over entire pizza. Try to aim for 1/2 cup to 1 cup each of tomatoes, and baby portibello mushrooms. Not overloading your pizza with ingredients will allow for your pizza to cook evenly. Next, I added fresh spinach leaves over the entire pizza. Once all veggies were added, feel free to add hot red peppers and Italian seasoning for added flavor. Preheat oven to 400° degrees for 15 minutes. Cook your pizza on highest rack for 10-20 minutes checking every 5 minutes.
